I feel that this neighborhood is quite age friendly in that people are very open to speak to others and may even offer to give assistance to me. A seat on the bus, help carrying groceries or simple directions have been given nicely to me.
to much crime, not enough affordable housing, to many hotels and high priced condos that nobody in the city can afford! There isn't any "family friendly" cheap things to do,
There's a good mix of young and old that seems to work. Most are respectful. Quite a few young persons travel back and forth to go to school some with their parents
There are a lot of senior citizen housing. Assistant living and places on the beach for the elderly. There are restaurants and other places of business that give senior discounts
They do have a senior center which provides a shuttle for local appointments, 5 days a week lunches are available, a podiatrist is available once a month, corse are avalable and games are available
