Lake Las Vegas is located 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip,10 minutes from major shopping outlets, and 5 minutes from a national recreation area. I perceive the Lake Las Vegas community as a much more age friendly place than Las Vegas. Many retirees live in Lake Las Vegas which offers a sports club, golf academy, and golf course. Additionally, a new retirement community is opening in Lake Las Vegas.
This is a tourist area.
diverse neighborhoods, good transportation, diverse community engagement
There are parks, trails, swimming pools, and lakes to go visit around the Green Valley area. kids are able to play at the park, while adults and elders are able to walk along the trail to keep healthy. People always greet each other with a hello or a warm smile. Throughout the city there are plenty of senior living centers integrated into the city itself so they are no isolated from anyone.
There are plenty of people in my neighborhood that are my age.
