Hearing loss is a very common medical condition. What’s also common is that it unfortunately often goes untreated due to not recognizing the signs, not taking it seriously, and not wanting to admit it’s something you might now be facing.
We have had some negative experiences there. My husband has a spinal cord injury and is paralyzed from the chest down. Supposedly they are a trauma 1 hospital but they have no idea how to care for someone who is paralyzed. No lifts available, no commode/shower chair, etc...
