We have a high elderly population and the city employes many to assist them
This place is very similar to many other towns. I would not say it is age friendly or unfriendly.
During the Winter months a great deal of retired people from the Northern States
come here for warm weather.
Age varies as to different complexes.
I work for a Local Senior Living Facility and the Vero Beach area has most everything that can assist and care for all.
Local transportation to
appointments is a big help.
Community involvement is a must and most of all Companinship is a Want.
