I would rather live in a better neighborhood
Convenient to down town and the beaches. Gated community. Friendly neighbors.
Vero beach is very "senior friendly". There are alot of activities and facilities for seniors.
Vero Beach has changed since I first lived here. There is plenty of wealth here, but there is now an emerging homeless population as well. The roads have not kept up with the growth. The price of real estate and even just a simple apartment rental has risen to where is very difficukt for someone on a fixed income to find an affordable place to stay. Vero Beach is still quite a nice little place but the squeeze is on !
I have five years or more working with elderly and disabled adults. I love doing that and I love helping people.
