The schools here are wonderful. The crime rate is low, along with everyone looking out for each other's safety.

Many activities for seniors. Many places to eat which offer senior discounts. There are many things to do and places to see that offer senior discounts. There is plenty of public transportation, lyft, and uber to get around. Things to do and see include: Balboa Park, beaches, Old Town, theaters, easy hiking and walking paths, and much more!

San Diego, in general, is far too expensive for everyone! The good weather isn't worth having to work two or three jobs to afford it, you can never enjoy it that way. People are rude, and the drivers here are among the worst I've ever dealt with. The homeless situation is probably among the worst in the nation and nothing ever gets done about it just a lot of talk from the politicians. There are far better places to live whether you are young or old...More people keep pouring in and then realize they can't afford it and feel stuck, it shows in the attitudes here in S.D.
