This city is age friendly because there are plenty of things to do for all ages. The university contributes greatly to this, and some may say that makes it more geared toward student life. However the university offers so many things to the public such as performances, events, and activities. There are also perks because of the university that all age groups in Rexburg can take advantage of. For example free public transportation to Walmart! And convenient locations for pick up by the Salt Lake Express (especially helpful when needing to get to the Salt Lake City Airport). The only thing I can see being age unfriendly about Rexburg is that I presume students take a lot of the jobs here in Rexburg. At least the entry level jobs.
Parks, safe atmosphere, religiosity, community involvement/activities, BYU-ID campus offers a variety of activities and entertainment for the community to become involved in such as in theatre, music, etc.
Rexburg is overall age friendly its quiet, everyone friendly
There are many students here and there is low crime.
It's a nice city because there are a lot of assisted living facilities and a hospital nearby, but if you live too close to campus it can be noisy and it's cold, but the city is friendly.
