A lot of nearby facilities with inbuilt clubs and programs present in Phoenix and nearby cities. Far-ranging home care agencies also available. However, public services are lacking (e.g. transport).

According to the "2016 AARP Age-Friendly Community Survey of Phoenix Residents Age 50-plus", a data survey with a sample size of 323 people, determined that Phoenix residents age 50-plus have deep roots in the community with 2/3 lived in the community for 15 years or more. Most don't plan to move, and almost nine in ten say their community is a good place to live for older people.
