Crime rate is high.
The elderly are very friendly and great to converse with, they have so much knowledge and are a joy help or offer help to if or when needed. I have always associated myself with older people I know what it's like to need help everyone does. I took care of my sick grandmother sometimes I had no carfare and had to walk from West Philadelphia to South West Philadelphia. I cleaned her house ,her laundry, baseboards, cooked for her, ran errands, shoveled snow, rubbed cramps out of her legs and feet, watched TV with her, surprised her with special gifts she loved, she was my heart and I loved her to the core of my soul. I miss her dearly. This world has lost a great and beautiful soul. Taking care of her even with a few challenges of my own later on helped me in appreciating becoming a home health aide. I am very loving and compassionate towards everyone but the elderly, have a special place within my heart. I go the extra mile for my clients sometimes I've stayed longer with them to make sure that they would be OK while I was away until I was scheduled to see them again. They always called me back and I would call to check on them as well.
I truly possess the love, empathy, compassion, and willingness to help and care for all my clients.
Yes, South Philly area is not so bad nice mixed crowds and fun things to do in that area, i said maybe because certain streets are not to great with kids on corners
I just feel that the older people who path the way for us should always taking care of
