A 55+ community with but a few jobs for 55+ people.
They look down on older people and disregard their skills they can bring to the table. Pay scale & working conditions are just horrible here !
No....I have excellent accounting skills and references, over 30 years. I don't look my age, early 60's. Finding part time employment is impossible. I have been told to my face that I am too old. I had an interview for a sales job for a financial planner. He told me & I quote " You have all the skills I need for this job but your age isn't good for the area. The business men here want young & pretty, you would never get thru the door"
