Naples is a perfect location for healthy aging. It has robust and active offerings such as beautiful beaches (sunsets!), fantastic restaurants, (even in strip malls!) cultural events (art, theatre, music) athletics (walking trails, golf, tennis, pickle ball) and many opportunities for life long learning. Naples is a "melting pot", attracting people from the mid west, Canada as well as the north east. Everyone is open to making new friends and taking full advantage of this little slice of paradise!
There is literally no public transportation. Traffic "In Season" is atrocious. Jobs for people in their 70's - almost non-existent. Wonderful restaurants, but again, "In Season", getting a reservation has to be done 3-4 weeks before the date that you want. Wonderful art shows. Good theater. Good Phil. Lots of places to take courses for continuing education.
There are a lot of activities here for older people, but the jobs are few and far between
