Marlborough prides itself on being age friendly and has a city department named "The Council on Aging," responsible for providing comprehensive services to its citizens as they mature. Services include:
- Meal and nutrition programs, transportation, prescription drug benefits, heating assistance, and newsletters
- The SCRPT program, which provides a property tax abatement to citizens who share their experience with the community
- A "Senior of the Year" designation, the winner of which is recognized at a mayoral dinner

The community center downtown is very age friendly. I have been down there a couple of times. They give Marlborough seniors free walkers.
We have a Sr Center and many activities and services available for Seniors. Marlboro also has several housing options for Seniors w/and w/o assisted living needs. We do a pretty good job of caring for our Seniors.
