There are people living in this community of all ages.  There is a large gay population which means that most people are tolerant and not narrow minded.

Part of the city is a place where one can walk to the shops and restaurants.  People seem to be genuinely friendly & helpful.

Public transportation is available along with transportation for seniors through the senior center.
