Dallas is a city in the U.S. state of Texas. It is the most populous city in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, which is the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the United States. It has many amenities that make it a desirable place for older adults to live:
- Healthcare Facilities: Dallas is home to numerous healthcare facilities, including hospitals, medical centers, and specialized clinics. The city has a robust healthcare system that can cater to the healthcare needs of older adults.
- The Dallas Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) is the department under the umbrella of the Community Council of Greater Dallas responsible for planning, advocating, coordinating resources, and providing services for seniors (persons 60+) and their caregivers in the Dallas County area.
- Affordable Cost of Living: Dallas generally has a lower cost of living compared to many other major cities in the United States. This can make it more affordable for older adults, especially those on fixed incomes, to find housing and access necessary services.
- Transportation: Dallas has a comprehensive transportation system that includes public transportation options such as buses and light rail. This can make it easier for older adults to navigate the city and access different areas without relying solely on private vehicles.
- Diverse Community: Dallas is a diverse and multicultural city with a welcoming community. The city offers opportunities for older adults to engage with people from different backgrounds, participate in cultural events, and enjoy a sense of community.

People just friendly
Not willing to give qualified seniors a chance to work.
There are people who are Friendly and then you have those who are not
The three factors that makes a place age friendly to me would first have to be Community; reason being is because if a place is a great community they will have services and events for the elderly to keep them occupied in life. Secondly would be Care; if a place has great care benefits such as transportation to and from doctor appointments and food and shopping assistance and things like that are very important. Last but not least would be general livability; its important that our seniors have a shopping and entertainment in close range from where they may live, this makes their lives much easier and less stressful.
Very senior citizen organized, meals and bible studies in the community room, assist with bill paying etc
