I believe my area that I live in is age friendly. There are many different ages and it relates well because some people have small children that get along with others and then there are older folks that get along with everyone just fine as well. The transportation is okay if you are closer to the city of charlotte than it is better.

My immediate neighborhood is is Generation friendly. But beyond my neighborhood it is a long walk to the pharmacy or supermarket and even longer to Target or McDonald's. While the neighborhood has sidewalks beyond the neighborhood does not. Commuting in Charlotte is an arduous process mostly involving buses. We do have some light rail developing and different parts of the city but it isn't yet convenient enough to just take a ride downtown from here. Housing is very expensive sometimes I see Apartments built nearest small City like strip malls and feel that's very convenient but it is also very expensive to live there. I feel as though if they were someplace to walk to I would be walking more frequently. Downtown is probably a very nice place to live as well and there's plenty to walk to there but again it is very expensive. Finally the traffic in the city is horrendous. The people look like they've all been instructed to just stay inches away from your butt the drive like crazy ,bicyclist get hit frequently and and some neighborhoods they have four-lane traffic or worse where the people have to run across the street like crazy people. It might get better someday right now you have to be awful careful. I have noted a decided lack of Civility in general where anytime people gather there seems to be conflict. I try to avoid all that.
