I think Beverly has age friendly venues, activities, and events, but I also think it needs more accessible areas and more events that are specifically age friendly.
Many number of Elder w/ activities and instatutions
large hospital, many elderly housing and homes, large local higher educations,..My home city.
I'm aware of several senior housing developments which I believe offer a lot services to their residents.
I think the neighborhood is indifferent when it comes to being age-friendly. It doesn't go out of their way to accommodate elderly/mature people, but also doesn't really do anything to actively hinder them either.
Beverly is an emerging age friendly community. This means it is pursuing an age friendly designation.
