Many in my neighborhood are retired, perhaps due to the fact that we are close to doctors, the hospital, shopping, car repair, pharmacy, Costco, and the majority of homes are single level. Nearby businesses provide senior discounts and shopping hours. A large church in the area offers online services that began with COVID and are likely to be continued.

It is easy to tell that this city valued kids of all age levels. Education and sports were both a priority to help develop kids into being successful adults.

One example of this was the hometown feel when attending high school sporting events.
There were alumni that would consistently support at the games and in financial ways to keep programs as strong as they already were.
