Located along the western bank of the Potomac River, Alexandria is approximately 7 miles (11 km) south of downtown Washington
The Commission on Aging (COA) serves as the principal advocate for issues relating to aging and promotes the implementation of the Older Americans Act and other age-pertinent laws and policies in Alexandria and the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Commission advances programs and services that address the needs of older Alexandrians, especially for (but not exclusively) low-income citizens.

it is an industrial area not good for any one really
Alexandria is a great place to build a life of peace ,happiness, events,good schools and after school programs,commumity programs, nice neighbors,transporation is good,its a great place to live.
