Alexandria is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 139,966, and in 2016, the population was estimated to be 155,810. Located along the western bank of the Potomac River, Alexandria is approximately 7 miles (11 km) south of downtown Washington
The Commission on Aging (COA) serves as the principal advocate for issues relating to aging and promotes the implementation of the Older Americans Act and other age-pertinent laws and policies in Alexandria and the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Commission advances programs and services that address the needs of older Alexandrians, especially for (but not exclusively) low-income citizens.

People here have worked hard to live in this community. Beautiful homes, good school's. Retired people who have worked their entire life for a certain lifestyle. Very Ritzy neighborhood

Is very safe environment and many transportation and good neighborhood if you are sick the comes to your door steps and check upon you and get you some food etc
