84 yo Mom was admitted March 2022, she has dementia/became irrational. It was recommended that we admit her to Oceans to have them work on her medication to help her behavior. When she arrived, no one was allowed in the building due to COVID, so we had to leave her with them once admitted. The first night either staff or a patient (they won't tell us) took my mother by her wrists and twisted them so hard it tore off 3 layers of skin off her back wrist and now has a horrible scar (2"x4"). Forced her to stay in a wheelchair, over medicated her so much she could barely speak. They didn't monitor her blood issues and once they started it got so bad by the 2nd week they had to move her to BSW Hospital (but waited nearly 6 hours to make sure she was bathed first). She ended up with a UT infection that also nearly stopped her kidneys and was unconscious for 4 days, doctor said we nearly lost her. She never returned to Oceans by BSW recommendation due to what happened.

People with complicated medical history would have a difficult time here. The groups and therapists are wonderful and was helpful for mental health. However, as an individual with a complicated and chronic illness it was difficult to find staff that was knowledgeable about implants and care.
