Live in a retirement neighborhood in Lake Alfred. Went to Polk County Schools. Retired from State Farm Insurance for 35 years. Took care of a handicap sister with CP until she passed away in 2019 from cancer.
Most of the people living here are very friendly.
The neighborhood is very age friendly as there are many children here, they are always outside walking, running and playing with other children.
What makes this area age friendly are the people, they are diversified with many children and adults from all different backgrounds and races.
Great retirement location, great weather, local school, went to all of them. Graduated locally. Retired from an Insurance company. Most business' are close within driving range
