Senior housing available throughout Winona. Local churches and hospitals provide in-home calling and meal delivery.
Plenty of activities for all ages. People are accepting and fairly liberal. It is a college based town so most students are around and are typically willing to help people who need it. We have many caregiving jobs in town and the city offers a decent transportation system.
I volunteer, I am very active, plus I am very young for my age. I own and drive my little convertible sports car. I am just too young to retire.

I think this town is very age friendly because it is a college town which I am a college student and it is very welcoming to even the young children I feel as if Winona is a family town as well as a college town.
