Wharton ( HWOR-tən) is a city in Wharton County, Texas, United States. This city is sixty miles southwest of Houston. The population was 8,832 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Wharton County and is located on the Colorado River of Texas just south of U.S. Highway 59 (Future Interstate 69).

Friendly and considerate small apt townhome complex safe respectable neighbors
Wharton is pretty much a retiring community. People of Wharton graduate from high school, go off to college and then move on to other cities or state, but the majority of those people retire and move back to Wharton mostly the country part. It's not a big town and everyone knows everyone.
The millennium in my complex now are always considering us as disable. However, they are lazy, love freebies, and at the mercy of the government for welfare Now who disable?
It's a small county. Everyone knows everyone else. Whether it's a loss of a loved one, an illness etc., people come together to help each other. It's like a big family of non- biological relatives. It's slow paced living.
