Weymouth is a city in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. As of the 2010 census, Weymouth had a total population of 55,643. Weymouth is one of 13 Massachusetts municipalities that have applied for, and been granted, city forms of government but wish to retain "The town of" in their official names. It is named after Weymouth, Dorset, a coastal town in England. It is the second-oldest European settlement in Massachusetts. Weymouth is considered one of the South Shore's more affordable towns and offers a short commute into Boston, MBTA bus and rail service and a town beach.

Its friendly
it is a family oriented city
Everyone is treated equally by everyone else no matter what age they are. The whole town came together after the death of Sgt Michael Chesna 42 and Vera Adams in her 70s. Young children are making and selling lemonade to help their families.
This area of Weymouth is very age friendly, they have Assisted Living buildings, nursing homes, public transportation wolf buses and commuter rail there is plenty of shopping. Great Schools and friendly Neighbors.
Very age friendly! We have kist as many pit of school activities for our kids as we do for our elderly! We have 2 senior centers, transportation, and some mixed activities when the kids and the seniors get together!
