General livability- nice, quaint, walkable downtown area with many friendly residents. Lots of elderly housing options, coffee shops and churches to choose from. Very active community center. Easy 20 minute drive to metropolitan Raleigh for work or play, including public transportation.
Everyone is friendly and speaks to one another and most residents are still the original residents that have grew up here.
Small town, although a lot of growth and expansion (business and residential). Public buss stop. High school, elementary and community college campuses. Community events are held seasonally.
