As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 21,822.The town of Wareham includes a number of distinct recognized subsections, including Onset, Wareham Center, West Wareham, East Wareham, and Weweantic. Wareham has long been recognized as the western point of Cape Cod.

this town is age friendly because it offers a wide range of activities for all age groups, It also offers transportation via bus. rec center.
we have public transportation (GATRA bus service), great network of dr's, and a hospital in town (Tobey Hospital)

Wareham is an age friendly town, based on the demographics. There are a lot of companies/ facilities for each age bracket. There are a lot of different activities and/or groups for toddlers to ederly. There are many places within the community that accommodate adults 65 and older and there are a variety of places that tend to young adults
