Nice backyards, close to downtown and the towns lake. Many families live on or around the wakefield lake. Lots of popular resturaunts that are family oriented. The town itself is close to major highway 128.
I have lived here for almost 34 years and I have always had positive experiences, no matter what my age. The restaurants are all family oriented and bringing my children up here was a good fit in my neighborhood in Greenwood. I love Lake Quannapowitt and the Gazebo, where my son and his wife took some wedding pictures. I have taken many a Christmas picture anywhere along the lake to send out cards.
