Towson () is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place in Baltimore County, Maryland. The population was 55,197 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat, and the second-most populated unincorporated county seat in the United States (after Ellicott City, the seat in nearby Howard County, southwest of Baltimore).

There are a few Assisted Livings within walking distance, multiple dining locations, people are friendly and access to transportation, library, Towson University, Police Station and Fire Department.

Not specifically age friendly
Some parts of Towson are but the part I leave in are somewhat age friendly. Further down the road towards Towson mall. There 100% age friendly.
