Thomasville is a city in Davidson County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 26,757 at the 2010 census. The city is notable for its furniture industry, as are its neighbors High Point and Lexington. This Piedmont Triad community was established in 1852 and hosts the state's oldest festival, "Everybody's Day". Built around the local railway system, Thomasville is home to the oldest railroad depot in the state, just a few hundred feet from the city's most notable landmark, "The Big Chair".

Friendly people and safe environment
People that have encountered are pleasing such as smiling , speaking even though they don't know me and being helpful if asked for instant direction if I am lost.
I have lived here my whole life I'm 38yrs old and I love it here its not a big town which is so much better anytime u go out u see someone u know and they are very friendly and people u may not know are just as friendly but I would not want to live anywhere else I guess I'm just want to be where I grew up at love it here
