I am a nurse and have been since 2008. I specialize in Hospice, case management, cardiovascular , cath lab and travel nurse.
It's quiet our here. No drama. People are friendly and not nosey. It's close to skills and restaurants. Fire and police departments are right up the streets. I feel pretty safe here.
Community is mostly children, teenagers and young adults who don't seem to be interested in the elderly in the community. Easy access to stores is limited due to no real public transportation being readily available daily.
I enjoy helping people going to doctors appointment just being a friend and talk and helping them remind them of taking medication.
Very relaxed and friendly community, plenty to do here, and even if you want the the big city vib then Florence or Columbia are close
