It's a very nice quiet neighborhood. Plenty of things to do such as go to the library, or walk down to the duck pond with the dog. Many convienen shops located on every corner yet far enough away to make for a peaceful nights sleep.
Has everything you need for every age.
Although I'm temporarily living here for the 2nd time, in my daughter's home, I am interested in working in this suburban area of Charleston, SC as I know it well. I am presently in transition, moving from the Appalachian area of SW VA, am in excellent health, and want to be here closer to my family, the beautiful seashore, the friendly people and the church in historic Summerville I've enjoyed, and all the cultural benefits that historic Charleston has to offer.
Summerville has the best schools and job opportunities for their residents and better living environment.
Hard to say. While Summerville, SC has a lot of older folks in the community, it is also one of the fastest growing small towns in SC. Overall, I have had a tough job search here. I am currently part time (not by choice) as a freelance Publicist for IndieKater PR. I also am the part time freelance "Arts & Culture" Columnist for the "Summerville Journal Scene" weekly newspaper where I profile area actors, artists, authors, and musicians.
