I think my community is very age friendly simply because of the location. The town where I live at is not very big or busy traffic wise. It feels very close knit, everyone knows everyone especially if your neighbors. There are plenty of job opportunities and things to do.
This site is very easy to use and understand also have some fun Question
Very good to seniors and veterans
Summerville, SC, is known as a friendly town adjacent to historic Charleston, SC. Due to an increase in businesses and manufacturing in our area, many new jobs are available. Entire subdivisions with homes and apartments are being built which have amenities. Our climate is conducive to many outdoor activities and beaches are within an hour's drive. Our educational system is highly regarded. Transportation needs are an issue, but many plans are being made to improve and increase roads and public transportation. The community has a variety of cultural activities, churches, clubs, and civic/service organizations that allow citizens to choose how involved they would like to be. Personally, I am active in church work, volunteering, and in a lineage society.
The community works together for the good of the community: in the way of food drives, helping the elderly, helping the poor and more.
