Work, shopping, parks, school
I have worked with the elderly since 1989. Very rewarding, the knowledge they share. Two of my recipients I was with for over thirty years!
Community engagement
Weather is great. Cost of living is too high. Many care facilities in the area. Work is mostly part time. Transportation is expensive especially for seniors. Alan Hancock College is located in town. Large Hispanic/Latino community as well as a substantial Retirement Community. Vandenberg AF Base close by in Lompoc.
Close knit town, family oriented, friendly people and good schools.
