Ppl are nice and respectful towards the older ppl.
San Antonio is a great city. it has a lot of senior communities and great cargivers.
Everyone helps onr another
I feel hidden age discrimination in employment exist here because I am an experienced senior professional and I have not been able to find suitable employment. The reasons I have been given have subliminal messages of "you are too old"; "we are looking for someone younger who we can pay less", "you need to settle for a greeter job at Wal-Mart"; or "you don't have the energy or innovative spirit a younger person might have. Other senior citizens have shared similar feeling with me about this area. It is great if you are ready to sit at home and do things that retired people want to do but not so great if you still want to maintain or grow a career if you are 50+ years of age.
If the positive side and everything everyone smiling laughing and enjoying their families enjoying their jobs providing for clients just overall a welcoming feeling
