I'm from California, and moved here a year ago, if I had to say whether my neighborhood is age friendly/unfriendly I would say it's neither friendly nor unfriendly, because there are resources available to help a person navigate though community engagement is not emphasized or made important.
It needs more lighting at night, more transportation access, and closer supermarkets.
The neighborhood is very friendly as well as age friendly because its majority of middle age individuals that look out for each other.
Not Friendly. Transportation is bad, no good places to work. I am almost 68 and working P/T at Kroger. No Activities for Seniors.
A lot of veterans and young middle class families. And a close tight nip community with neighborhood watches and police patrols around the clock. Along with HOA.
