Since moving to the area I have come across many individuals who are in need of companionship and help with activities of daily living.
Port St. Lucie is really for people who are retiring it is a very quiet place to live the crime rate is very low and everyone knows their neighbor or try to help in times of need like helping to put up hurricane shutters if your neighbor cannot do so and so on.
I have lived here 11 yrs and there has never been a problem with crime, drugs, domestic disputes or menacing kids. Its very quiet and people friendly.
