I would say my neighborhood is very age friendly because, there are a lot of different things to do, there's playgrounds for kids, that also has parks that any person of any age could scroll through. There are a lot of convenience stores, on corners. We have supermarkets, clothing stores, also means, a lot of job opportunities. There's a lot of schools, and churches to be apart of. Parades and festivals! I have lived here my whole life, now I am raising my son in the exact same neighborhood!
I'm my community we take care of all the elders around my way. We make sure they are okay rather it's coming from the store needing help walking up the steps, needing help taking bags into there home, we always help. & always greet them & being polite. It's nothing like a sweet elder there the best.
It's is very age friendly because it has many citizens that live within the community. In my community there is reliable transportation and the seniors are very respectable and honorable.
The current neighborhood I live in is age friendly, the younger generation respect the elders by not smoking around them or blasting music after a certain time.
The people here can be very mean and chaotic but I never let that determine how I treat my residents I will continue to treat them with the love and respect as deserved because I love what I do
