Pearl is a city in Rankin County, Mississippi located on the east side of the Pearl River from the state capital of Jackson. The population was 25,092 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jackson Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Today, Pearl is a growing community; it is the 13th largest city in the state and the largest city in Rankin County.

Pearl is a nice clean and friendly place to live.The school systems are very good both in academics and sports. The neighborhoods arecleanandwell patrolled. Jobs are plentiful. I.have lived here for 45 years.

It is a smaller community, has a very low crime rate, has a wonderful community center for the elderly, traffic is not too heavy and very easy to get around
