I consider this neighborhood a very special place there is a church in that neighborhood and all those people are very kind and give the community food and help each other a lot.
Paterson NJ is age friendly to everybody and anybody. It's a very diverse community with a great historical background. For children, there are many great parks to enjoy. East Side park has recreational fields to play sports and even offers outdoor grilling to enjoy a day with family and friends.
For adults, Downtown Paterson is filled with hundreds of stores, many of them family owned and operated. The Great Falls are part of a National Historical Park and have many day tours explaining its history.
Paterson can be somewhat age unfriendly for the simple fact of lack of Oppurtunity.
My town is friendly because there are a lot if people that goes out of their ways to help others and make sure that everyone is in good hands.
The culture of the people in this neighborhood is family oriented and most of the elderly either live in the senior housing or with their relatives. A few of my neighbors have elderly parents that live with them due to economic issues.
