Education and community engagement
There are at least two facilities for long term care in Northborough. I have lived in Northborough for about a year, and since I worked as a home health aide here I know there are services available for the elderly. There are several shopping centers with plenty of parking and sidewalks.
There is at least one assisted living and long term care facility. It is not far from Worcester, and there are hospitals not far away. There are plenty of sidewalks, and shopping centers are easy to get to. I do not have any examples to give, and I have only lived here for a year.
There are handicapped apartments and there are stores, such as clothing stores and grocery stores, in walking distance. The neighbors are friendly as well. The schools are very good.
The town has a very active senior center where the seniors socialize.
The only downsize is there is no public transportation.
