Livability as far as senior care or care with disabilities is good. There are many homes that specify in treatment. Transportation is good as well, very accessible for people with or without physical disabilities. Community engagement is great, there is always something to do, no matter the age.
It is a mix of both. Some are kind to the elder residents while others are impatient and rude to them but it works both ways because some of the elderly are also impatient and rude. Overall though people are mostly kind.
It is welcoming to all ages, we live in a quiet neighborhood, close to highway and shopping, walking distance to a park and small zoo. Great area for walking
My guess is that the neighborhood would be considered age-unfriendly because it consists of single family homes that require maintenance and as one ages that is not always easy. However given that most of our neighbors help and look out for one another I would consider us age-friendly.
