Some of the building are not handicapped accessible to our older residents.
The traffic is awful, I've seen elder women get stuck in parking lots, not being able to get out, because their practically getting ran over. On the other hand, lots of experienced doctor care, hospital care and rehabilitation care in the area. Also lots of side walks for people to walk for exercise or cant drive.
Everyone is willing to help. I once had a flat tire and someone helped me change it.
Very Friendly Town, they are willing to help you out, if you don't know there something is. From groceries stores to schools. Southern Hospitality. I moved here in 2006 and I didn't know where anything was, people just jump into action explaining to me where everything was. That's why I've stayed so long here very friendly people.
People are caring and help each other.
