The borough of Media is the county seat of Delaware County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania and is located 13 miles (21 km) west of Philadelphia. Media was incorporated in 1850 at the same time that it was named the county seat. The population was 5,327 at the 2010 census, down from 5,533 at the 2000 census. Its school district is the Rose Tree Media School District with Penncrest High School and Springton Lake Middle School. In June 2006, it became the first fair trade town in America. Media promotes itself by its motto: "Everybody's Hometown".

Friendly town they help each other pretty laid back people.

Kids around here are alway playing together even kids from other blocks I have been living here forgoing on 6 year thank god there never been a fight with no one around here . The kids leave the bikes out here for hours even to the next day and it's still there every one respects each other and look out for the children here .
