There are community centers in the city and I know there is a bus route close by.

Lawrence has a bad reputation for its crimes, though mainly drug related. I was born and raised here, it is all I know and I personally think the environment isn't as bad as people say. It is is livable, we are surrounded by medical services (clinics, lawrence general, holy family, etc), education is great, and there are a lot of individuals that try to do good for the community and give it a better name.
