I am new to the area (two years). My contact with persons in the community comes from the church I attend and the church I work at. Thus far I would classify them as somewhat age friendly. They speak and are courteous to you however they don't befriend you. I live in a senior community where most of the residents just stay to themselves. There are a few that I intermingle with, but that is basically when they need me to do something for them. I will go out of my way to assist everyone regardless of the age.

Neighborhoods are not like they use to be.
