It is a Principal City of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, Florida, Metropolitan Statistical Area, which had a 2010 population of 2,134,411.

The thing that makes this neighborhood so age friendly is that it is highly populated by young people and its quiet at the same time.
Kissimmee is a retirement city with tourists on vacation or elderly.
