The Niels Esperson Building is the only complete example of Italian Renaissance architecture in Downtown Houston. Designed by theater architect John Eberson, the Esperson building was built in 1927. It's elaborately detailed with massive columns, great urns, terraces, and a grand tempietto at the top, similar to one built in the courtyard of San Pietro in Rome in 1502.
His wife Mellie Esperson had the building constructed for her husband, Niels, a real estate and oil tycoon, and his name is carved on the side of the building, above the entrance, in large letters.

Where I'm located is age friendly due to the fact that my leasing office put on events at least a month for the people in my community and the children give away free stuff and free classes to those who want to learn English etc.

The area has 3 major universities, within3 miles of the world's best medical center and its 4 miles from downtown Houston.

Houston is a very age friendly community, we have lots of resources to help the elderly people age in place like access to doctors transportation and also the type of health care services that provide assistance to help them in their own homes. Houston is always growing bigger with more opportunities.
