The Niels Esperson Building is the only complete example of Italian Renaissance architecture in Downtown Houston. Designed by theater architect John Eberson, the Esperson building was built in 1927. It's elaborately detailed with massive columns, great urns, terraces, and a grand tempietto at the top, similar to one built in the courtyard of San Pietro in Rome in 1502.
His wife Mellie Esperson had the building constructed for her husband, Niels, a real estate and oil tycoon, and his name is carved on the side of the building, above the entrance, in large letters.

the neighborhood is very quiet peaceful town people are friendly their check on you to see if you ok always speaking.

Most of the older adults in my neighborhood are taken care of by their families or living in their own homes. I always see older ppl walking the neighborhood for exercise, walking their dogs and playing with their grandchildren. I would say it's fairly age friendly.

The community I live in is suitable for all age groups. Many of our stores have adjusted their store hours for the elderly due to the current pandemic. Children are able to roam free with the protection of the local police department.
