The city also has parks, trails, and recreational facilities that provide options for outdoor activities and leisure pursuits.

I have been living in this community since I moved to Texas after Hurricane Rita in 2006. They welcomed us with open arms and I've been embraced with nothing but love, support, and opportunities since living here. We are in a community known as Acres Home on the northside of Houston and I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else. We have an array of ages and ethnicities around me that influence and change my life daily. We have many means of transportation around this area including the Metro bus stop, ubers, cabs and safe sidewalks for bikers. We have community centers, schools k-12, a college, and living home all within walking distances.

This is the area I grew up in and love. I've watched my elders live and thrive here . Some have passed away but quite a few are still here enjoying life and most of my clients have been in this area
