I've lived in Hesperia, California since 2018. Hesperia, Apple Valley, and Victorville are all age friendly. In, the majority of businesses, in these areas have age 50+ employees. That's why I'm applying for a job in these areas.
Just not much to see or do here....@ any age! We don't even have a hospital. Our neighboring city has 3. A powder keg of sadness and empathy due to across the board menial work prospects.
Its a nice town i live in very age friendly i would say, we have a lot of space for dirt bike/quad riding, camping, there a couple lakes around to fish in and take out the boats and sea doos, we have parks with big areas to watch fireworks, feed the ducks, have outdoor movie nights, my kids play sports there usually, we have bowling allies, movie theatres and just about a little bit of everything for all age groups.
VVC Is close enought and they provide free bus rides for students like me.
Absolutely, I love living in Hesperia. It’s easy to get around and if you want a bigger city go to Victorville or down the pass. Everyone is very friendly the weather is great. My favorite time of year is fall in the high desert.
